Job Responsibilities

As a powerful team player, you'll champion both our business partners and talent to ensure a successful candidate experience, while managing all parts of the recruiting process from sourcing to offer and hire across all levels across our platform. You will play a key role in identifying and deploying employee retention evaluation and improvements. As an ambitious learner and team member, you will be the expert and provide direct oversight of recruitment and retention. You must be a team player, but also be able to work independently.

  • Conduct various recruiting activities to include the job postings and advertisements; pre-screen candidates and schedule interviews; conduct background checks; extend job offers; send applicable correspondence to all job candidates; and maintain job files. Conduct interviews with managers. Train managers in applicable areas of the hiring process to include interviewing techniques.
  • Assure the proper onboarding and orientation is conducted for all employees. Conduct new employee orientation; answer questions and ensure new hire paperwork is completed accurately and timely; and employee information is properly stored and retained.
  • Enhance Internship Program, developing relationships with regional colleges and universities. Coordinate and attend job fairs and seek campus involvement opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders, acting as a trusted partner for recruitment and retention related activities. Understand the needs of the CU and develop recruitment strategies to support current hiring and future growth.
  • Serve as a project lead on specific initiatives related to recruitment, retention, continuous improvement projects and more.
  • Responsible for ensuring that policies and processes are managed throughout the recruitment life cycle and the applicant tracking/HRIS system is maintained and kept updated.
  • Maintain, analyze, and create talent reporting and metrics. Using them to improve our practices and work environment.
  • Track and evaluate hiring timeframes including date/time/method contacted, if/when candidate response received, date/time/method hiring manager contacted candidate, etc. Identify trends and gaps/delays in recruiting timelines.
  • Send weekly hiring activities tracker to HR leadership and hiring managers and summarize results. Track and evaluate turnover/retention statistics and work with HR leadership to develop high value retention activities.
  • Participate in exit interview evaluation (and other mechanisms) to identify positive/negative trends and assist in developing improvement plans/processes to reduce turnover and increase retention.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Skilled in interviewing practices, including sourcing, phone screening and onsite interviews.
  • Experience managing job postings, conducting skill/behavioral testing, and performing credit and background checks on qualified applicants.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience.
  • Experience working with employee retention initiatives.
  • Strong working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulatory changes related to human resources.
